1. What Dagbalans is
Dagbalans is a free tool to keep track of what you do and how much energy it takes, and to turn that into an activity diary for your occupational therapist, fatigue clinic or other therapist. It consists of the website www.dagbalans.nl and the Dagbalans app for Android. By using Dagbalans you agree to these terms.
2. No medical advice
Dagbalans helps you write down what you do. It is not a medical device, makes no diagnosis and gives no treatment advice. The points, the points limit and the messages in the app are a way to keep track of your day, based on the Activiteitenweger. They do not replace the advice of your doctor or therapist. If you are unsure what is good for you, talk to your therapist.
3. Use with and without an account
- Without an account your diary is only on your own device. If you lose that device or clear its data, we cannot bring your diary back.
- With an account we also keep your diary on our server. Keep your password to yourself and choose one you use nowhere else.
- Use Dagbalans only for your own diary, and not to disrupt it, overload it or test its security without permission.
4. Your data
What you fill in is yours. You can always download your days as PDF or CSV, and you can have your account removed. How we handle your data is in the privacy statement.
5. Availability and changes
We do our best to keep Dagbalans working well, but cannot promise it will never have a fault. We may change Dagbalans, improve it or remove parts of it. If we stop Dagbalans, we tell you at least two months ahead, so you can download your diary.
6. Ending your account
You can stop at any time. Email info@dagbalans.nl from your account's email address, and we remove your account and your diary. If Dagbalans is abused, we may block or remove an account.
7. Liability
Dagbalans is free. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for damage from using Dagbalans, from faults or from the loss of data. This does not apply when the damage is caused by intent or gross negligence on our part.
8. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. For an important change we let you know in the app or by email. If you keep using Dagbalans after that, the new terms apply.
9. Law
Dutch law applies to these terms. If we cannot work it out together, a dispute goes to the competent court in the Netherlands. As a consumer you always keep the protection the law of your own country gives you.
